Setting whether resources are allowed to give away shipments in Opter Driver

By default, drivers are allowed to assign shipments to other resources in Opter Driver, but you can disable this by setting the mobile data setting GiveAwayPermission to “false”.

Defining whether or not resources are allowed to give away shipments

  1. In Opter, click on Settings > Mobile data > Settings mobile data.

  2. Click on an empty row in the Name column and then on the down arrow in the row being added.

  3. Select GiveAwayPermission from the list.

  4. Enter “true” or “false” in the Value column as follows:

    • “True”: the Give away menu option is displayed in the app. Drivers may give away shipments to other resources belonging to the same supplier.

    • “False”: the Give away menu option is not displayed in the app. Drivers cannot assign shipments to other resources.

  5. Click on Save.
