Require a POD upon a change in status

It is possible to define that drivers must register a POD when they change the status of a shipment.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Click on Settings > Life cycles and statuses.

  2. Select the life cycle for which the setting is to be configured from the list on the left and go to the Statuses tab.

  3. Select the status whose setting needs to be configured under Statuses, for example Delivered.

  4. Select Require proof of delivery and Available to mobile device under Opter Driver.

    For example, to ensure that drivers are forced to register a POD when they change the status of a shipment to Delivered, select the Require proof of delivery and Available to mobile device checkboxes for the Delivered status.

  5. Click on Save to save all changes.

If you have ticked boxes Require proof of delivery and Available to mobile device for status Delivered, then a status change upon arrival at the terminal does not apply. You can configure the settings for registering proofs of delivery in the Opter Driver and Opter Terminal apps upon arrival at a terminal in the terminal register.
