Setting whether resources are allowed to give away shipments in Opter Driver

By default, drivers can give away shipments to other resources in Opter Driver. It can be set up so that drivers cannot give away shipments to other resources in the app.

Defining whether or not resources are allowed to give away shipments

1. In Opter, click on Settings > Mobile data > Settings mobile data.

2. Click on an empty row in the Name column and then on the down arrow in the row being added.

3. Select GiveAwayPermission from the list.

4. Enter “true” or “false” in the Value column as follows:

   • “True”: the Give away menu option is displayed in the app. Drivers may give away shipments to other resources belonging to the same supplier.

   • “False”: the Give away menu option is not displayed in the app. Drivers cannot give away shipments to other resources in the app.

5. Click on Save.
