Delay reasons, window

Settings > Delay reasons

If a driver sets the status of a shipment to unloaded or performs a delivery scan later than the last possible delivery time specified on the order, the delivery is considered to be late.

You can set whether the driver has to give the reason for the delay and a comment in case of delayed delivery. You can also make exceptions to the general setting for certain customers. For instructions, see Mandatory reason and comment for delay in Opter Driver.

In the Delay reasons window, you can create different reasons for delays, which can then be selected in a drop-down list in Opter Driver and in the order reception in the Times (deadlines) section.

FunctionExplanation
NameThe name of the reason. Displayed in the list on the left of the window. Appears in a drop-down list in Opter Driver, in which the driver selects the reason for the delay. Also displayed in the Delay reason drop-down menu in the Times (deadlines) section of the order reception. (If the Times (deadlines) section is displayed in the order reception, you can add it. For more information, see Arranging the sections in order reception).
Description

Free text field for internal notes. The description is not displayed anywhere else but here.

Acceptable delaySelect this checkbox if orders with this reason for delay are not to be considered as being delayed in Opter. They will then, for example, not appear in the search results if a search for delayed orders is performed.
Available in mobile deviceSelect this checkbox if it should be possible to select the reason for a delay being registered in Opter Driver.
