The command causes Opter to forget all preloaded lists, such as services and order types.

If you have a list box that does not contain updated information, please report the error to .

Clear distance cache

When should the distance cache be cleared?

If you get incorrect distances in the Order reception, it may be because the information in the system is no longer up to date. To solve this, you can clear the distance cache, so that new data is loaded from the map provider.

  • Temporarily saved distances between addresses are removed.

  • No existing orders are changed.

How often to clear the cache is a trade-off between performance and data accuracy.

Clear address position cache

When should the address position cache be cleared?

If you receive incorrect positions in Order reception, it may be because the information in the system is no longer up-to-date. To solve this, you can clear the address location cache, so that new data is loaded from the map provider.

  • Temporarily saved positions for addresses are deleted.

  • No existing orders are changed.

  • Manually adjusted address positions are not deleted.

How often to clear the cache is a trade-off between performance and data accuracy.

Remove dispatch window dock settings

Resets the dispatch window settings to the default settings. This can be useful, for example, if you have lost panels, or if some elements are displayed in the wrong language.

Close the dispatch window and then click on this option. The following then occurs:

  • The size and position of the panels in dispatch are restored to their default values.

  • Panel names are reset. The next time dispatch is opened, the names of the panels will be in the language chosen by the user at the last login.

  • If you have closed, displayed or pinned () certain panels (for example Ferries, Routes or Subcontractors), these settings will also be reset.

Server

The name of the SQL server and database that Opter uses.
