Best prices and tiered prices

Tiered prices must start at 0.

It is possible to use different unit prices for units such as weight in the same price list.

For example:

From 0 kg: 50 kr/kg ‎

From 100 kg: 40 kr/kg ‎

In the sections below, you can see how best prices and tiered prices work in Opter.

As entered (no recalculations)

90 kg -> 90 kg x SEK 50/kg = SEK 4,500 ‎

110 kg -> 110 kg x SEK 40/kg = SEK 4,400

Tiered prices

90 kg -> 90 kg x SEK 50/kg = SEK 4,500

110 kg -> 100 kg x SEK 50/kg = SEK 5,000

10 kg x SEK 40/kg = SEK 400

Total = SEK 5,400

Best prices

“It must never be more expensive than for the minimum weight in the next weight class”

90 kg -> 100 kg x SEK 40/kg = SEK 4,000 (a higher weight than the real one is used) ‎

110 kg -> 110 kg x SEK 40/kg = SEK 4,400

Worst price

“It must never be cheaper than for the maximum weight in the previous weight class”

90 kg -> 90 kg x SEK 50/kg = SEK 4,500 ‎

110 kg -> 100 kg x SEK 50/kg = SEK 5,000 (a lower weight than the real one is used)
