Life cycles and statuses

The life cycle of an order consists of the statuses that the order and its associated shipments pass through while the order is in production, usually running from the time the order is created until all the goods have been delivered.

When Opter is installed, there is a life cycle and this is set to be the default life cycle for all orders that are created. If you work on more than one life cycle, you can set one life cycle as the default and then choose other life cycles for your services.
