Customer web and Track & Trace

The customer web

The customer web is used by transport buyers to book transport. This can be accessed by adding an extension to the URL used for the webs, which is usually your domain or external IP address. The customer web is located at /opter, for example www.courierservices.com/opter or 123.45.678.901/opter. If running Opter Cloud, the customer web address is https://<name>.opter.cloud.

The information that is displayed and what can be done on the web is controlled from the Internet order settings window.

For an overview of how to use the customer web, see The customer web.

Track & Trace

Track & Trace is part of the customer web and is used to track transport operations and communicate with the receiver. It is located at /opter/tt, for example www.courierservices.com/opter/tt or 123.45.678.901/opter/tt. If running Opter Cloud, the Track & Trace address is https://<name>.opter.cloud/tt without /opter. No login credentials are required to use Track & Trace.

The settings for what is to be shown and what can be searched for are configured on the Track & Trace tab in the internet order settings. Some settings for interaction with the receiver are configured in the Home delivery settings, window window. The choice of internet order settings used is controlled by the customer on the order found in the search, and the home delivery settings are controlled by the service on the order.
