Deviations, order reception

Order > Order reception

The Deviations section shows the order’s deviations. A deviation can be registered on one or more packages. On the Packages tab in the Deviations section, the checkbox is marked for the packages with which the deviation is registered.

In the section Deviations you can also modify a registered deviation and create new deviations on the order. For instructions, see Register anomalies in order reception.

If the Deviations section is not displayed or if it should be placed elsewhere in order reception, this can be set up. For more information, see Arranging the sections in order reception.

Function	Description
New	Adds a new deviation to the order.
Delete	Deletes the selected deviation from the order.
Type	Shows the deviation type.
Event	Shows the deviation event.
Reason	Shows the deviation reason.
Date	Shows the date and time when the deviation was created.
Created by vehicle	Shows which vehicle was logged in when the deviation was created.
Created by employee	Shows which employee created the deviation.
Comment	Shows the comment on the deviation.
Shipment no.	Shows the number of the shipment on which the deviation is registered.
Notified	Shows if and when the deviation was notified to the recipient. For more information about notification subscriptions, see Introduction to notifications, Sending notifications automatically and Notification subscriptions, window.
Show on map	If the deviation was registered in connection with a proof of delivery, it is possible to click on the Show on map button to open a map showing where the proof of delivery and the deviation were registered.

The window’s tabs

General

Use this tab to change for example Deviation type for a registered deviation, or select for example Deviation type and Deviation event when creating a new deviation. If a new deviation is being created, start by selecting Deviation type, then select Deviation event if applicable, and then Deviation reason if applicable.

Function	Description
Deviation type	The deviation type can be used to categorise the deviations.
Deviation event	Deviation events can be a more detailed specification of what has happened to the goods.
Deviation reason	A reason for a deviation can be an explanation of the deviation.
Comment	Free text field for entering a comment about the deviation.
Value	Here a value can be entered manually for the deviation. For example, the value of the damaged goods. What is entered here is not used by Opter, it is just a note for the user.
Paid amount	Here any amount paid for the deviation can be entered manually. What is entered here is not used by Opter, it is just a note for the user.
Resource	Here it is possible to specify the resource responsible for the deviation. What is entered here is not used by Opter, it is just a note for the user.
Completed	Select the box if the deviation is considered to be closed. What is entered here is not used by Opter, it is just a note for the user.

Consequences

Function	Description
Measure	Free text field. Here any actions that are to be or have been carried out can be entered.
Evaluation/Effect	Free text field. Here an evaluation and/or description of the effects of the deviation can be entered.

Other

This tab displays information about when the deviation was created and who created it, and whether anyone has amended the deviation. Information about the shipment number, sender and recipient is also displayed.

Log

Function	Description
Created	Date and time when the deviation was created.
Created by	The name of the person who created the deviation.
Modified	If the deviation has been amended, the date and time of the amendment is displayed.
Modified by	If the deviation has been amended, the name of the person who made the amendment is displayed.

Shipment

Function	Description
Shipment number	The shipment number.
Sender	The sender of the shipment.
Receiver	The receiver of the shipment.

Packages

Function	Description
(Checkbox)	The checkbox is marked for the packages with which the deviation is registered. If you are registering a new deviation or modifying an existing deviation, tick the checkboxes for the packages for which the deviation is to be registered.
Package id	The package’s number.
Goods type	Goods type of package.
Text	Comment.
Weight	Package weight.
Abandoned	Indicates whether the package is deactivated or not, as follows: “True”: The package is deactivated. “False”: The package is active.
