Sender/Receiver (Order reception)

Order > Order reception

This displays information on the sender and recipient of the order, i.e. the start and end addresses of the transport. The fields to be displayed can be set by clicking on Settings > Address settings. The fields that are mandatory to complete when registering an order (yellow fields) can also be configured.

You can set the sender and recipient fields independently of each other.

If the group is not displayed or if you want it in a different place in the Order reception, you can set it up. For more information, see Organising the groups in Order reception.

///

Shows how accurately the position of the address has been determined.

Example:

Stina Karlsson

Storgatan 42

114 55 Stockholm

Sweden

  • : The coordinates of the exact address were found, including the street number. The position on the map shows the exact address of Storgatan 42 in Stockholm.

  • : The coordinates of the street were found, but not the street number. So the position shown on the map could, for example, be Storgatan 1 instead of Storgatan 42.

  • : The coordinates of the postcode/city were found. The position shown on the map is an average of the geographical area, roughly in the middle of the postcode area 114 55 Stockholm.

  • : The coordinates could not be found for any part of the address. If the street is not in the country specified, the accuracy is automatically 0. For example, if “Belgium” is entered in the above address, the accuracy will be 0 because Storgatan is not located there, even if PTV finds the rest of the address.

  • : The coordinates have been adjusted manually. Click on the icon to view the address on the map and see what position has been set for it.

Click on the icon to view the address on the map. There you can adjust the position of the address or enter a completely new address on the order. For more information, see Map (window).

More information on accuracy can be found in Addresses and address positions.

Time/Date

/

Time/Date

Earliest and latest collection time (at the sender's premises) and delivery time (at the recipient's premises) Together, the times form a collection window and a delivery window, for example collection between 8:00 and 12:00 and delivery between 14:00 and 18:00.

The fields are named Time - Earliest/Date - Earliest and Time - Latest/Date - Latest in the Address settings window.

Geo zone/Price zone

The Geo zone is filled in based on the recipient's postcode, but you can manually select a different Geo zone.

The price zone is automatically filled in based on the Geo zone and cannot be changed.

The fields are called Geographical zone and Price zone in the Address settings window.

Often, price zones are created by synchronising them with Geo zones. Then 1 Geo zone = 1 price zone, and the price zones have the same names as the Geo zones. In such cases, these two fields say the same thing.

More information on Geo zones and price zones can be found at Zones, overview.

Country

Country of sender/recipient.

Code

Port code. The field is called Entry code in the Address settings window.

Phone

Telephone number. The field is called Telephone in the Address settings window.

Hub

Adds a Terminal before the sender's address or after the recipient's address. This is to show that the goods are actually being transported from/to a Terminal. However, the addresses on the order do not change, and the addresses of the Terminals are not added to the address list on the order. The order is also not split, but retains its original shipments.

Service time/Additional

Service time is the time taken to pick up/drop off the goods in addition to the actual travelling time between addresses.

Additional shows the time it takes to make multiple deliveries to the same address, in addition to the service time. For example, if you have one order for level 3 and one for level 5 at the same address. For level 3, the service time applies and for the delivery on level 5, the time for further deliveries applies.

You can overwrite the times with a time that applies to this particular order, if there is something extra complicated (or simple) to be delivered.

The fields are called Service time first and Service time following in the Address settings window.

For more information, see Service time.
