Tracking the costs for invoices
Cost check can be used to monitor the costs of invoices. Click on Order > Cost check.
The table includes the columns Expected cost and Actual cost, if they have been added. If the columns are not present, they can be added by following the instructions in Columns in cost check.
In cost check, search for the orders of interest. You can see the expected cost and enter the actual cost.
To manually enter costs from supplier invoices and link them to existing cost price items or create new cost price items, see Adding new cost price items to cost check.
Tracking costs in order reception
Costs can also be monitored in order reception:
- See the expected cost of an order in the section Price items, column Expected cost.
- See the actual cost in the Shipments section, on the right under Resource price.
Tracking in the statistics
The expected and actual costs for suppliers and subcontractors can also be viewed in the Statistics window. Click on Analysis > Statistics and search for the information of interest. For more information about statistical reports, see Statistical reports.
