Register > Customers > search for a customer > Customer > Reference
The customer reference is the person placing the order at the customer. In this window, user accounts are created for the customer’s ordering parties. For more information, see Creating login credentials for the customer web.
What the ordering party can see and do on the customer web is generally controlled by the internet order setting, but this window makes it possible to define exceptions to those settings for individual ordering parties.
The window’s tabs

Name | Name of the ordering party. |
Phone | Ordering party’s telephone number. |
Mobile phone | Ordering party’s mobile number. |
Ordering party’s email address. It also serves as a user ID when logging into the customer web. | |
Password | Password for the customer web. The field is read-only. To change the password for the ordering party, enter the new password in Enter new password below. |
Enter new password | Here the ordering party’s password can be changed by entering a new one. The password is not saved in this field but in the Password field above. The new password must consist of at least eight characters, including at least one number and at least one special character. |
Messages | The set of notifications that the ordering party receives when various events occur for an order. |
Internet user | : The ordering party can log into the customer web. : The ordering party cannot log into the customer web. |
The menu items displayed on the customer web and the ordering party's access rights are primarily determined by the internet order settings for the ordering party, but here it is possible to make exceptions to those settings for individual ordering parties. The internet order setting for the customer reference can be entered on this tab. If it is [Default] here, it first falls back onto the customer registry (Internet tab) and then the office settings (Internet tab).
Access right for customer web
These settings control what the ordering party can see and do on the customer web. For the customer reference to be able to do any of the following, the option must be marked both here and in the internet order setting.

Show prices | : The order's total price, VAT, pricing weight and distance are displayed at the top of the order page on the customer web. : The price of the order is not displayed on the customer web. |
Create orders (1) | : The Order option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. The user can create new orders. : The Order option is not shown in the menu on the customer web, which means that the user cannot place new orders on the customer web. |
Create multi-orders (2) | : The Multi order option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. The user can create orders from one sender to multiple receivers. For more information, see Activating multi-orders on the customer web. : The Multi order option is not displayed in the menu on the customer web. |
Change orders | : Users can make changes to existing orders. If an order has a status in which it is possible to change the order, the Edit button is displayed at the bottom of the detail view. : Users cannot make changes to existing orders. |
Search for orders (3) | : The Find order option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. Users can search for orders. If Only show reference’s own orders is selected (see below), only the ordering party's own orders are shown in the search results. : The Find order option is not displayed in the menu on the customer web. |
Add and amend addresses (4) | : The Addresses option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. The user can add new and modify existing addresses. : The Addresses option is not displayed in the menu on the customer web. |
Show invoices (5) | : The Invoices option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. The user can see a list of invoices in closed invoice periods on the customer web. Search for proof of delivery (6) | : The POD option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. Users can look up orders with proof of delivery (POD) and amend the proofs of delivery. If Only show reference’s own orders is selected (see below), only the ordering party's own orders are shown in the search results. In addition, the POD Information section is displayed in the detail view if the order has a proof of delivery. : The POD option is not displayed in the menu on the customer web. Show vehicle on map (7) | : The Map option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. Users can see the location of vehicles on the map. Change default settings for new orders (8) | : The Settings option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. Add, delete and edit other internet users (9) | : The Users option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. Users can add, delete and edit the customer's user accounts for the customer web. If the user clicks on Users in the menu, a list of all the customer's user accounts is displayed, where it is possible define access rights and account information for other users. : The Users option is not displayed in the menu on the customer web. |
View incoming/outgoing orders (other customer pays) (10) | : The Arriving/Departing option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. It is a list of all orders for which the customer does not pay but is the receiver or sender. The orders paid for by the customer are displayed on the main page. Do price calculations (11) | : The Price option is displayed in the menu on the customer web. The users can calculate total price, VAT, pricing weight and distance for an order without starting an ordering process.
