Deleting address suggestions in order reception

When addresses are entered on orders, they are saved in Opter and appear as suggestions the next time you start entering an address on an order. There is no registry that can be opened to change these addresses, but it is possible to define the length of time they are saved (the default is 100 days), and they can also be deleted.

Defining for how long addresses are saved

To define for how long addresses should be retained as suggestions, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on Settings > Offices.

  2. Go to the Order Settings tab.

  3. In the Address history text field, enter the number of days addresses should be saved after they have been used.

  4. Click on to save all changes.

Deleting address suggestions

To delete an address from the quick lookup, do the following:

  1. Open order reception.

  2. Enter an address in one of the address fields. In the list of suggestions that appears, click on, or scroll down with the arrow keys to, the address that is to be deleted.

  3. Make sure that the address has the icon at the far left. This shows that it is an address in the quick lookup registry, rather than in the customer registry, for example, and that it can be deleted.

  4. Press Delete and confirm that the address is to be deleted by clicking on Yes.

The address will then no longer appear as a suggestion when addresses are entered.

Quick lookup on the webs portals

The quick lookup of addresses on the web portal order pages uses the same address list. If an address is deleted from the quick lookup in order reception, it will also disappear from the quick lookup on the web portals.
