User accounts
Everyone who uses Opter has to have login credentials for the part of the system they use. The first user account for Opter is created during the installation. More users can then be added for Opter, the mobile apps and the web portals.
Login credentials for Opter
Dispatchers and other administrators who use the Opter client must have a personal user account with login credentials, or log in with an Azure Active Directory account.
- Creating user accounts with login credentials
- Logging in with Azure Active Directory
- Setting access rights for users
System accounts
There are a number of system accounts, and corresponding system employees (because user accounts must be linked to an employee), which are created automatically when Opter is installed. These are used to manage data from the apps and the webs, because those who use the apps and the webs do not have personal user accounts for Opter. The system accounts are created during installation.
- Administrator: A normal user account with full access rights for all functions in the system.
- Internet: Used to handle data from the customer web and the resource webs.
- Mobile data: Used to handle data from Opter Driver and Fleet 101 K2 Mobile.
- EDI: Used to handle data from the EDI service.
- System: Used for system-generated events, such as scheduled orders and notification subscriptions.
- Terminal: Used to handle data from Opter Terminal if you have chosen to have users log in as a terminal.
Login credentials for Opter Driver and Opter Terminal
The login credentials for the mobile apps are handled differently depending on how users should log in.

- Creating login credentials for Opter Terminal
Login credentials for the customer web and the resource webs
The login credentials for the customer web are defined in the customer registry. The login credentials for the vehicle, driver and terminal webs are the same as for Opter Driver and Opter Terminal (if you have chosen to log in as a terminal).
No login credentials are required for Track & Trace. There you search on a package ID, freight bill number or order number, but otherwise it is open to everyone.
