Services and service lists

A service is a description of the transport offered to the customer and a definition of how the transport is to be performed. Examples of services are “Panic”, “Normal”, “During the day”, “Kilometres”, “Hours”, “Distribution”, “Groupage” and “Part Loads”. The services are priced with price items on the Services tab of the price list and often constitute the basic price of an order.

Service lists can be used to get a better overview in the Services window and in the price lists, where services are grouped by service list. It is mandatory to select a service list for the services, but it is possible to put them all in the same service list if desired. It is not required to have several different service lists.
