Closing orders with Proof of delivery scanning in Opter Terminal

To prevent an order from being inadvertently closed when scanning with POD (proof of delivery), the following applies to scans with Opter Terminal:

If the final receiver comes to the terminal to collect their goods, proceed as follows in Opter Terminal:

  1. Tap Proof of delivery and select Package or Freight bill.

  2. Scan the goods and tap Done.

  3. Select the POD type (proof of delivery type), for example Delivered.

  4. Fill in the required information, such as Name in block capitals and Signature from the receiver, and possibly Comment and Remark.

  5. Tap Save.

The entire order is now closed.
