In this window, you make settings for different countries.

On this tab, the country’s name, code, address format and more can be defined.

Function

Description

Nimi

Country name. The countries listed are in English.

Kood

Country code.

PTV complies with ISO 3166-1 alpha-2. It is important that this code is the same as the one used by the PTV, so that the PTV understands in which country the addresses are located and so that distance calculations can be made.

Aadressi vorming

The address format controls which address elements can be displayed in the Saatja and Saaja sections of order reception and on the customer web.

If you want the Maakond field to appear, select USA from the Aadressi vorming drop-down list. (The country does not have to be the United States; you can select the address format USA for any country.)

Troubleshooting:

For example, if you have chosen to display the Maakond field in sections Saatja and Saaja in the order reception and on the customer web, but the field is still not displayed. Then click on Seaded > Kontorid and the Tellimuse sätted tab. Click on to the right of the drop-down lists Aadressi seaded (tellimisleht) and Aadressi seaded (Internet). The window Aadressi seaded opens. Ensure that the check box is selected for field Maakond in column Nähtav.

Select the VAT rate for the country.

To add a new VAT rate, click on Registering VAT rates.

The VAT rate specified here can be overridden. For more information, see How Opter chooses the VAT rate for customer invoices

Marsruudi optimeerimise seaded

Used to obtain the correct position of addresses in Åland, as the PTV has registered all addresses in Åland with the country Finland.

If you are using route optimisation in Åland, enter "COU_Name" in the column Seadistamine and "Finland" in the column Väärtus.

Road toll settings

Here you set which toll types Opter should automatically create toll items for, and whether the Price items should be displayed individually or grouped.

The settings can also be made on the Kaal/kaugus tab in the office settings. It doesn't matter if you make the settings here in the country register or in the office settings, basically the same data is changed. If you want to make the same settings for all countries, it is most efficient to make them in the office settings. If you do not make any settings either here or in the office settings, the default settings are used:

  • General road tolls (Type: GENERAL) are shown grouped by country.

  • All other road tolls are displayed individually, i.e. one price item row per road toll.

Create a new row in the table for each setting you want to make.

Select the toll type.

  • GENERAL: General road tolls.

    Example: The Danish and German distance-based Road tolls are registered as GENERAL. The Norwegian "Bomringen - Oslo" is also registered as GENERAL.

  • CITY: Urban charges/congestion charges.

    Example: The congestion charge in major Swedish cities such as Stockholm and Gothenburg is registered as CITY.

  • BRIDGE: Bridge tolls.

    Example: The fee for the Öresund Bridge is registered as BRIDGE.

  • TUNNEL: Tunnel tolls.

    Example: The fee for the Warnowtunnel in Rostock is registered as TUNNEL.

  • FERRY: Ferry charges/tickets.

  • MOUNTAIN_PASS: Mountain pass tolls.

Management

Choose how the Road tolls should be displayed on the item rows.

  • Show grouped: Road tolls are shown grouped by country. All Road tolls of the same type in a country are totalled and displayed on an item row.

    Example: All bridge tolls in Denmark can be summarised and displayed on a single item line.

  • Show individually: One article line per Road toll.

    Example: Each bridge toll in Denmark is shown on one row of articles each.

  • Ignore: Road tolls are ignored. No Price items are created.
