Settings in Opter Driver (classic) for Android

Most of the settings relating to the way the app works, such as what should be mandatory to fill in and which statuses are available for selection, are configured by the dispatcher. But you can adjust some basic settings in the app. Press on > Settings. These settings apply only on the phone on which they are set.

Function	Explanation
Enable GPS	If you turn off the GPS function, your position will not be shown in dispatch.
Battery threshold for GPS	Do not state too high a battery percentage for this option. If the GPS function is switched off, your position will not be shown in dispatch.
Hide future shipments	To ensure that the app only displays today’s shipments, select Hide future shipments. The app then hides shipments to be carried out the next day or further ahead. If the working session extends beyond midnight, shipments are hidden after 00.00 if this option is selected.
Hide locked shipments	The dispatcher can define that shipments are to be locked if the previous shipment on the order has not been unloaded. If you select this option, locked shipments are not displayed in the app.
Bluetooth printer	Pairing with a compatible Zebra printer.
Use Bluetooth scanner	Select this option and pair with the scanner to use a standalone Bluetooth scanner instead of the mobile camera.
Notifications	Choose the time interval between notifications about new shipments.
Enable stand-by mode	Enable Opter Driver to receive shipments and messages even if the app is not in the foreground.
