Marsruudid (window)

TellimusMarsruudid

In this window, you define the routes, which together with the terminals make up your route network. For example, if you have a Stockholm-Malmö route with Terminals in Jönköping and Helsingborg, orders between Jönköping-Malmö and Helsingborg-Malmö can also be Auto dispatched on that route. For more information, see Routes and Auto dispatch, overview and Creating and setting up routes.

If you have many routes, it may be easier to export them to Excel, and work with them there instead of in Opter, and then import them back into Opter. For more information, see Exporting and importing routes to/from Excel.

Üldine

Function

Description

Nimi

The name of the route. Proposal:

  • 'Linjerutt Oslo - Trondheim' (if it is a line haul between Oslo and Trondheim)

  • "Distribution Oslo", "Stockholm 12* - 11*" or "Pick-up Helsinki" (if it is a distribution route).

Tüüp

Liinivedu: The route runs between two or more Terminals.

Jaotus: The route has a pick-up area and/or a drop-off area. In between, there may be one or more terminals. Distribution routes can also allow direct transports between senders and receivers without stopping at intermediate Terminals. It is set on the device.

Kuupäev

Indicate the date from which the route may be used.

Raha jagamise punktid

Indicate how many points the route gives, for example "1" or "3". For more information, see Split the revenue between the shipments on an order.

Maximum number of stops on same day

The maximum number of shipments that can be placed on the route in a single day. This is to ensure that a route does not become congested if, for example, many shipments are scanned at a Terminal at the same time and are to be dispatched the next day.

If the maximum quantity is reached, the route can no longer be selected on the customer web or Track & Trace when creating an order, and order reception will display a warning message the order is saved. Instead, the shipments are matched with the next departure on the route, or other routes.

Routes set via EDI do not take into account the maximum number of shipments allowed.

Region

If you pre-select a region on a route, the shipment is automatically assigned to the region when the route is selected. This allows you to filter by region in dispatch. It also allows you to control the account and economic unit for the shipment’s share of income and costs based on the region.

Kirjeldus

Free text field for internal notes. The description is not displayed anywhere else but here.

Sorteerimiskood

Used for machine sorting of packages at terminals.

Luba saadetiste skannimiseks ainult määratud ressurssi

: Only the resource that is on the shipment can depart it. If someone else scans the shipment, the status or resource does not change.

: Anyone can resign from the shipment. The departing resource takes over the shipment from the previous one.

Korje

Kohaletoimetamine

Otsevedu

Liinivedu

If so desired, the system can be configured to ensure that a certain vehicle and/or a certain driver are assigned shipments connected to a route. It is also possible to set up that a specific subcontractor is assigned to shipments linked to a route. For more information, see Linking vehicles or drivers to routes.

Uute saadetiste olek

  • For routes of type Jaotus:

You can set the status you want new shipments to have at Korje, Kohaletoimetamine and Otsevedu under Uute saadetiste olek, for example Määratud or Kinnitatud.

  • For routes of type Liinivedu:

You can set the status you want new shipments to have at Liinivedu under Uute saadetiste olek, for example Määratud or Kinnitatud.

Erandid

You can make exceptions to the rules you have set up at Uute saadetiste olek above.

For example, if the first terminal in the route is "Terminal Tallinn", you can select the status of new shipments at Korje, Kohaletoimetamine and Liinivedu. Add a new row for each exception you want to make. To delete a row, select it by clicking on the far left of the row and then press Delete. When you are finished, close the window and click Salvesta in the Marsruudid window to save the changes.

Ajakava

Click on Ajakava and select the days on which the route operates. For more information, see Ajakava, routes (window).

Under the Ajakava button, you can see whether the route is running Igapäevane, Iganädalane, Igakuine or Instance (i.e. on a specific day of the month).

Ajakavaga marsruut

Info text only. All routes are always scheduled.

Ühendused marsruudigruppidega

The route groups to which the route belongs. Route groups are created in the Marsruudigrupid window (Tellimus > Marsruudigrupid).

Näita mitteaktiivseid

: Displays both active and inactive route groups.

: Shows only active route groups.

You can set which route groups are active and inactive in the Marsruudigrupid window (Tellimus > Marsruudigrupid).

Liinivedu (scheduled routes only)

The Liinivedu tab will appear if you have selected Liinivedu for Tüüp on the Üldine tab (see above).

In the case of auto dispatch, the order deadline is calculated on the basis of the terminal’s transhipment time, the route’s schedule, and the terminal’s opening hours or off-time opening hours. Make sure the opening hours of the terminals have been entered under Register > Terminalid > Lahtiolekuajad. For more information about opening hours, see Terminalid (window).

Providing street numbers can be useful if you have large volumes of goods to/from the same street.

esmaspäevpühapäev

Mark the day or days on which the collection area on the row is to be serviced. If the column for a day is grey, it means that the route is not operating on that day of the week according to the timetable (which you can open from the Üldine tab). It therefore does not matter whether the check box is selected or not if the column is grey.

Examples and images can be found in Examples of routes.

If you have many rows with different postcode areas, and you want to easily see which postcode areas are served on Wednesdays, for example, you can sort the column kolmapäeval by clicking on the column header. For more information, see Creating and setting up routes.

Raamatupidamine

In Opter, the VAT rate on the order determines the income and cost account to which a certain amount is booked. On this tab you can make exceptions to the regular account coding. The tabs you make changes to are marked with .

Click on to display the VAT rates held in the system. Then select the account to which amounts with the different VAT rates should be posted. More information on the individual drop-down lists can be found at The Raamatupidamine tab. The settings in this tab apply if you reach item 4 in the list in How Opter selects accounts for income and expenses. If [Vaikimisi] is selected for any of the options here, the account coding is taken from the VAT rate.

For more information on how Opter selects the VAT rate on orders (column Müük) and supplier bills (column Kulu), see How Opter chooses the VAT rate for customer invoices and How Opter chooses the VAT rate on credits.
