In the Accounts window, the chart of accounts used in Opter can be edited. A chart of accounts is provided during installation to use as a starting point, but it is not complete and the accounts are not numbered. However, it does suggest appropriate numbers and names.

Add further accounts that are needed, change the names of the ones you need to use to fit how you want them, and delete any accounts that aren’t needed.

Function	Description
Name	Account number. Suggested accounts are displayed in the format “xxxx (2610)”.
Description	Descriptive name of the account.
