Sending an SMS with a link to Track & Trace

To make it easier for the receiver to sign the proof of delivery on their own device, an SMS with a link to Track & Trace can be sent to them when the status is changed to Korjatud and Kohale toimetatud. Proceed as follows:

1. In the Töös list, give a long-press on the shipment, select the status and then Allkirja saamiseks saatke SMS. If the order is open in the detail view, tap > select the status > Allkirja saamiseks saatke SMS.

2. Enter the receiver’s mobile number and tap Saada. The telephone’s SMS function is opened with the receiver’s number already filled in and a link to Track & Trace as the message text. Send the message as usual.

3. Ask the receiver to press the link and sign the proof of delivery on their device.

When the proof of delivery has been signed in Track & Trace, the shipment does not disappear from the Töös list. This is so that the route sequence is not changed if the proof of delivery is signed in advance. Once the goods have been delivered to the receiver, the shipment can be removed from the list by registering a proof of delivery for the shipment as usual.
