Importing payments

In this article

A payment import involves retrieving information about invoices that have been paid from an external accounting system, such as via API or by importing a file.

This is how to import a payment information file:

  1. Click on Majandus > Makse import and then on Loe faili at the bottom right.

  2. Select the file format of the file to be imported, from the Faili tüüp drop-down list. If the file type is not shown, contact for more information and a cost estimate for adding the desired file format.

  3. Click on and browse to the file that is to be imported, or enter the path in the Teekond field.

  4. Fill in the rest of the fields:

    • Piirkond

    • Pangakonto

    • Kuupäev: Today’s date is set by default.

  5. Click on OK to import the file.

The upper part of the Makse import window shows the invoices that are fully or partially paid. A green tick indicates that the invoice has been paid and the correct amount has been paid. A red flag indicates that the invoice has been paid, but the amount paid is too low or too high. See the Hoiatussõnum column:

    • In the case of overpayment, it says Ettemakse luuakse.

    • If the amount paid is too low, it will state Osaline makse, unless the amount is less than or equal to that indicated under Seaded > Kontorid > Arve tasumine in the Aktsepteeritud arve kõrvalekalle field. In this case, the difference is booked to the depreciation account instead.

The lower part of the Makse import window shows the invoices for which the payments could not be imported. The Põhjus, miks mitte salvestada column states why the import failed, for example Viga arve laadimisel or Arve on juba tasutud.

If the payments are saved and the file is imported again, the import will fail for the invoices for which the payment has already been registered in Opter. The Arve on juba tasutud message is displayed.

  6. Click on Salvestage maksed in the bottom right-hand corner. You can now see the payments under Majandus > Manuaalmaksed.
